Been hearing good things about Virtual Surveyor for construction earthworks calculations. Currently doing everything in Civil3D but the workflow is slow.
They want $300/month which adds up. Anyone using it? How does it compare to Propeller or doing it manually in CAD?

Sign inI switched from Civil3D to Virtual Surveyor about a year ago. Cuts my processing time in half for routine earthworks. The automatic breakline generation is the killer feature.
The $300/month pays for itself if you're doing more than 2-3 earthworks projects a month.
Tried the free trial and liked it but couldn't justify the cost for my volume. Propeller is cheaper if earthworks is your main focus. VS is better if you need more flexibility.
