My phone (iPhone 14 Pro) overheats in direct sunlight after about 20 minutes of running DJI Fly. Lost control display mid-flight twice last summer.
Thinking about switching to a dedicated tablet. What are people using? Need it to be:

Sign inCrystal Sky if you can still find one, or the DJI RC Pro which has a built-in screen. The RC Pro handles heat much better than any phone because it's designed for outdoor use.
If you need a tablet, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active4 Pro has military-grade heat tolerance and a sunlight-readable screen. About $650.
iPad Mini with a sun shade hood. The Hoodman hood blocks direct sun and keeps it cool enough. Cheaper than a new tablet and the iPad has the best app ecosystem.
But honestly, the DJI RC Pro is the right answer if your drone supports it.
