I have my Part 107 and some photogrammetry experience. Looking to differentiate myself in the market. There are tons of certificates and courses out there but most seem like cash grabs.
Which certifications do employers/clients actually care about?

Sign inASPRS certification is the only one I've seen actually matter in hiring decisions. It demonstrates technical competence in photogrammetry and remote sensing, not just drone piloting.
Vendor certifications (Pix4D, DroneDeploy) are nice to have but they're basically marketing for those companies. You can learn the software without paying for their cert.
Unpopular opinion: certifications matter less than a good portfolio and references. I've hired drone techs with zero certs who could outperform "certified" pilots.
Build a portfolio showing diverse projects, accuracy reports, and polished deliverables. That's what sells.
