Trying to land more freelance clients but struggling to showcase my work. Most of my projects are under NDA or I don't have rights to share the deliverables.
How do you guys build a portfolio when you can't show actual client work? Mock projects? Generic samples?

Sign inCreate case studies instead of just pretty pictures. Explain the challenge, your approach, and the results. Clients care about problem-solving ability, not just nice orthomosaics.
Ask clients for permission to use anonymized samples. Most will say yes if you remove identifying details. 'Construction site in Texas' is fine, you don't need to name the client.
Also, do some pro-bono work for nonprofits. They're usually happy to let you showcase it.
Map your own property or a friend's land. Full workflow from planning to deliverable. Shows you can do the work without any NDA issues.
